Cooking Instructions 1kg Shortcrust Pastry Mix, approx. 290ml cold water 3.5kg Shortcrust Pastry Mix, approx. 1015ml cold water Step 1 Preheat the oven 200°C/Fan Oven 180°C/Gas Mark 6. Weight out the required quantity of mix into a mixing bowl and add correct amount of cold water. Step 2 Mix on a slow speed until the dough is formed. Allow to rest in a cool place for 5 minutes. Step 3 Roll out on a floured surface to 3mm thickness and use as required. Step 4 Bake pastry in the oven until crisp and golden. All appliances vary, these are guidelines only. For fan assisted ovens cooking time may need to be reduced. Hints & Tips Ideal for all types of flans, pies and pastry dishes. Why not try adding cinnamon to the dough for an extra special apple pie or ground almonds for a bakewell tart. Add herbs or a pinch of dry mustard for a savoury pie with a difference.
