Prepare and Use
Cooking Instructions Ensure ingredients of the pack are thoroughly mixed before taking out the amount required, as settling may occur during transit. For part use of tub – to make one litre. Measure out approx 60g (2 1/4 oz) of gravy mix. Mix with 1 litre (approx 1 3/4 pints) of cold water. Bring to the boil stirring continuously and simmer for 60 seconds stirring continuously. To use the whole tub Mix the contents to a smooth paste with 5 litres (approx 8 3/4 pints) of cold water. Mix into 33 litres (approx 58 pints) of boiling water. Bring back to boil and simmer for 60 seconds, stirring occasionally. Makes approx 39 litres (68 1/2 pints). Serving Suggestion Add sautéed onions for an enriched gravy. Serve over Toad in the Hole.
