Prepare and Use

Directions Sponge Cake: Entire bag of Sponge Cake Mix 1/2 cup softened butter or margarine* 2 large eggs* 1 tsp gluten free vanilla 1/2 cup milk or water* Preheat oven to gas mark 4/180°C. Lightly oil a 9 inch round cake tin or an 8 x 8 square inch tin with vegetable oil. In large bowl, beat butter until fluffy then gradually and mix. Beat until butter is absorbed. Gradually add other ingredients and mix until even. Pour into tin. Bake 28 minutes. Snickerdoodle Cookies: Entire bag of Sponge Cake Mix 6 tbsp of softened butter 2 large eggs beaten 1 tsp of gluten free vanilla extract 2 tbsp of sugar mixed with 1 tbsp of cinnamon. Set aside. Preheat oven to gas mark 4/180°C. In large bowl or mixer, beat butter until fluffy. Scrape bowl. Add mix. Combine. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Roll into 1 inch balls. Rolls balls in cinnamon sugar mix. Set 1 inch apart on lightly greased or parchment paper lined baking tray. Bake 15 minutes. Let cool and enjoy. * you may adapt the recipe to suit your needs by using an equal amount of a substitute ingredient.
