Nutella is an Italian hazelnut chocolate spread manufactured by Ferrero. We’ve been enjoying this delicious treat since 1964 and its popularity has only increased over time. It’s known for being extremely versatile – you can use it in baking, on sandwiches or even melted into a delicious chocolatey drink!
In 2005 nutella lovers from around the world gathered for the spread’s 40th year anniversary. Everyone was served a meal which consisted of Nutella, Nutella and more Nutella! The event was so large that the Guinness World Records actually named it the world’s “largest ever continental breakfast” with over 27,000 people in attendance.
Did you know that Nutella even has its own day? It’s true, on the 5th February 2007 a pair of bloggers managed to start this incredible trend. So, when the day rolls around, make sure you pick some up and share a few recipes.
