- Spaghetti style pasta
- Long expiration dates
De Cecco Spaghetti is a long rod pasta format made from the highest quality durum wheat, bronze drawn and low-temperature dried to deliver tasty, rough and “al dente” pasta. Whole and firm, they hold pasta sauces well, so you are guaranteed to serve a delightful pasta dish to the whole family. Perfect with fresh or canned tomato sauces with vegetables and aromatic herbs, or with quick hot spicy sauces with garlic and Cayen pepper. Try serving with fish or white sauces as well.
Easy to prepare as well. Cook 500 grams of pasta in 6 litres boiling salted water (3kg in 36 litres of water) with constant stirring to prevent the pasta from sticking together. Cooking time usually takes 10 to 12 minutes. Drain well and season to your preference before mixing with your favourite sauce.
Founded in 1886, De Cecco is one of Italy’s famous pasta brands and is the first pasta certified for its high quality protein content. Their bronze drawing and low temperature drying method used in the production of their pasta ensures the consistency, firmness and best quality of their dry pastas.
