Veetee Easy Cook Long Grain Rice is a popular brand of rice grains, mainly because of the delicious taste you get after cooking. It’s easy to achieve, even if you’re not that experienced in the kitchen. They are pre-steamed to make grains firmer and easier to cook, producing rice that are fluffier and more nutritious. No more soggy or overcooked rice. Its proven versatility makes the cooked rice a perfect meal or side with any dish or any type of cuisine.
This 5-kilogram jug of rice can make approximately 100 50-gram servings per person, and the container makes storage simple and convenient.
This product is packaged in a protective atmosphere to ensure freshness. Store it in a cool and dry place. Once jar is opened, keep container tightly closed to keep contents fresh.
On the Stove: Place 50g of rice into a saucepan of boiling water. Add salt if desired. Boil and cover, simmer for 12 to 15 minutes. Take away from heat. Drain to remove water, and fluff with a fork before serving.
In the Microwave: Put 50g of rice in large microwaveable bowl with 250ml of boiling water. Wrap top of bowl with a microwave film and pierce. Cook on full power for 8 1/2 minutes. Let it stand for 4 more minutes. Drain in a colander and serve. Microwave ovens vary, so adjust cooking times accordingly.
