- Traditional pork scratchings
- Seasoned pork rinds from the shank of the pig
- Long expiration dates
Mr. Porky’s pork scratchings are rind strips from the shank (the back part of the leg) of the pig, deep fried until perfectly crunchy and salted for flavouring. These cracklings are so scrumptious that you’ll be reaching for one piece after another, then another! They are very filling too, so when you hear your stomach rumbling from hunger, grab a bag and enjoy these crispy snacks.
The contents of this 35-gram bag varies in sizes. Each animal is unique, and so are their rinds. The uniqueness means the scratchings will also have different textures and shapes, but the flavour are all the same.
Serve these crispy snacks when you’re having some drinks with your friends. They go well with your favourite beverages. But consume in moderation, and be sure to enjoy Mr. Porky as part of a healthy diet and active lifestyle.
Pork scratchings originated back in the 1800s when the working classes cook all possible parts of their pigs because of the scarcity in food.
