Smint is a brand of mints that provides minty coolness in the mouth, and at the same time freshens breath. Triangular in shape, these tiny mint pastilles contain Xylitol, a natural sugar substitute extracted from birch trees and other fruits and vegetables. Aside from being a natural sweetener, Xylitol also reduces plaque build up thereby helping to prevent tooth decay. Which is why Smint is endorsed by Toothfriendly, an international dental rating group.
These mints are packed in a handy, pocket-sized container that dispenses one mint at a time in just one click. Each mint has a long and lingering flavour that is not too overpowering. They’re also less likely to upset your stomach when compared to other sugar-free mints.
Initially designed for the adult confectionery market, Smint must be consumed in moderation because too much intake may induce laxative effects. If you plan to share this with children, please limit their intake and monitor them closely because small kids aged 4 years and below might choke on these tiny mints.
